Il difficile è dimenticare ciò che si è visto per casa
(Ritratto di Pescara per caso)
a diffuse exhibition by Matteo Fato
curated by Simone Ciglia
Upcoming events and public program
A few days after the opening of the exhibition, Fondazione La Rocca is pleased to present the upcoming events and Public Program of Il difficile è dimenticare ciò che si è visto per casa (Ritratto di Pescara per caso), a solo exhibition by Matteo Fato curated by Simone Ciglia, which involves the entire city through an articulated network of venues, languages and forms.
The project marks the artist’s exhibition return after sixteen years to Pescara, his hometown, and builds a poetic and choral portrait of the territory, between art, memory, history and urban space. The works-partly unpublished, part remounted in dialogue with collections and contexts-inhabit museums, foundations and public spaces, in an investigation of painting and its relationship with landscape, time and community.
Matteo Fato was recently announced among the artists participating in the 18th Quadriennale di Roma Fantastica, within the section curated by Luca Massimo Barbero.
